WIP Wednesday; Running a Marathon When You Want to Sprint
Hello friends and welcome back to the corner of the internet where I cry about my current work-in-progress. It’s been kind of an up-and-down week. Despite being completely sure last week that I wasn’t ready to start drafting, on Saturday, in a fit of pique, I accidentally did just that. I told myself I would… Continue reading

Monday Motivations; Inertia
Hello friends and welcome to another wanton week of writing. I used to love Mondays. Strange, I know. But, to me, they always represented a new beginning. A new chance to do something great. The start of a new chain, a new streak. A new door to walk through if I had but the courage… Continue reading

WIP Wednesday; What Kind of Story Do I Want to Write?
Hello friends! With all the blogging I’ve been doing lately, I realized that I didn’t have a dedicated space to talk about what writing projects I’m actually working on. That, plus the fact that I am more motivated to finish projects the more public accountability I have, led to me to dedicate the Wednesday slot… Continue reading

Monday Motivations; Be Your Own Cheerleader
Hello friends and welcome to another wishful week of writing. Friends, I’ll admit it: the time change last week kicked my ass. Every day I got home from work feeling absolutely wiped. I ended up spending a lot of time in bed (well, even more so than usual) and procrastinated on my weekly writing tasks.… Continue reading

Monday Motivations; Defogged
Hello friends and welcome to another willful week of writing. I am pleased to report that I am finally starting to feel more like myself again, as the fog of this recent depressive episode has started to lift. While I’m grateful my medicine has mitigated the worst of my brain chemistry’s fuckery, it is still… Continue reading

Monday Motivations; Refocus
Hello friends and welcome to another weighty week of writing. Friends, last week I did not get a whole lot of writing done. You may have even noticed that the blog was quieter than usual. A brief but disruptive mental health hiccup nears the brunt of the blame, though the argument could be made that… Continue reading

Monday Motivations; Lesson Learned
Hello friends and welcome to another multitudinous week of writing. Friends, I’m not off to a great start today. I awoke at four am in a cold sweat, as one so often does when they realize they’d utterly forgotten to complete a time sensitive task. I leapt out of bed and ran to my computer… Continue reading

Race Against the Clock
I’m starting to worry that at the current rate I am writing, I will never get all my ideas down before I die. Continue reading

Monday Motivations; Getting Back On the Horse
Hello friends and welcome to another winter blasted week of writing. Well, it finally happened. After 28 straight days, I (unintentionally) broke my blog streak. I mean, I feel like I had an okay reason. I caught my daughter’s cold and was almost completely incapacitated with a headache that would not go away even with… Continue reading
About Me
Kerry Share’s love for writing started, as it so often does, as a love of reading at an early age. At age 11 she wrote her first short story, a Harry Potter knockoff of dubious quality, and her love for creative expression was born. Throughout her teen years she continued to foster that passion through derivative work, and at 23 she turned her eye to original fiction.
Now in her thirties, having taken a break from creative endeavors to cope with an ever changing life and landscape, she is determined to make her dream of a writing career reality.
