Just Another Struggling Writer

The lamentations of yet another person struggling to write a novel.

Its here!

I’m not going to sit here and pretend that this was a long time coming, or a deeply held ambition finally realized, or even that I worked really hard on it. I mean, I did work hard, but honestly, the most difficult part was overcoming my nerves and my own anxiety about sharing myself with people, even if the subject matter is supposed to be about books.

But really, once I got past that part, I found I really enjoyed the process. I still have a long way to go in the way of mastering audio editing, but I managed to find and add intro music, an interlude, sound effects, and a self-promoting outro (though not all of which are included in the preview episode; the good shit starts with the yet to be released first episode; stay tuned!).

Speaking of the first episode, its been recorded, edited, uploaded and scheduled. Now that I have a better idea of how the process works and how much time it’ll cost me, hopefully I’ll be able to get back to, you know, actually writing.

To celebrate the launch of the podcast, I’ve added a few new designs to my Redbubble page! If you’re a fan of my work, check out my entire portfolio, linked below!

Lastly, I’d like to plug my Ko-Fi page. I’ve had a lot of fun developing my skills and ideas as a content creator, but there are certain costs associated with it. If you appreciate my content and would like to support an independent creator, donations are always deeply appreciated.

Buy me a coffee (or an e-book as it were) here!

About Me

Kerry Share’s love for writing started, as it so often does, as a love of reading at an early age. At age 11 she wrote her first short story, a Harry Potter knockoff of dubious quality, and her love for creative expression was born. Throughout her teen years she continued to foster that passion through derivative work, and at 23 she turned her eye to original fiction.

Now in her thirties, having taken a break from creative endeavors to cope with an ever changing life and landscape, she is determined to make her dream of a writing career reality.
