Monday Motivations; What is My Foundation Made Of?
Hello friends and welcome to another willful week of writing. I’m thinking a lot this morning about why I succeed at nailing my goals on some days and why I crash and burn on others. What components make up a “good” day and what pitfalls appear on the “bad” ones? How can I build a… Continue reading

Abandoning Self-Rejection and Taking Up Gardening Instead
Hello friends and welcome to another inner-edited edition of Just Another Struggling Writer. I’m just another struggling writer. One of my most annoying traits as a writer is that I do my best brainstorming when I’m lying in bed trying to go to sleep. Due to my insomnia I am very aware of not looking… Continue reading

Monday Motivations; Be Your Own Cheerleader
Hello friends and welcome to another wishful week of writing. Friends, I’ll admit it: the time change last week kicked my ass. Every day I got home from work feeling absolutely wiped. I ended up spending a lot of time in bed (well, even more so than usual) and procrastinated on my weekly writing tasks.… Continue reading

Monday Motivations; Getting Back On the Horse
Hello friends and welcome to another winter blasted week of writing. Well, it finally happened. After 28 straight days, I (unintentionally) broke my blog streak. I mean, I feel like I had an okay reason. I caught my daughter’s cold and was almost completely incapacitated with a headache that would not go away even with… Continue reading

Monday Motivations; Two of Cups
Hello friends and welcome to another wicked week of writing. Friends, readers, spam bots. It is a no-bones day. I barely had enough motivation to get out of bed this morning, I haven’t the faintest idea where I’m supposed to find more in order to write. And if I hadn’t taken off most of last… Continue reading

Manuscript News It took me a while to really get back on the wagon with writing. Even though I promised myself I would start up again on January 2nd, I didn’t actually get any words down until the 5th. Without the enthusiasm of a fresh start or the punishing schedule of NaNo to have to… Continue reading

NaNoWriMo Update – Week 2
This week’s update is going to be a short one, mostly because I don’t have much ground to cover that I didn’t talk about last week. First, I’d like to share my jubilation on yet another platform that holy shit I broke 20,000 words. This isn’t the first time I’ve done 20k on a project,… Continue reading
About Me
Kerry Share’s love for writing started, as it so often does, as a love of reading at an early age. At age 11 she wrote her first short story, a Harry Potter knockoff of dubious quality, and her love for creative expression was born. Throughout her teen years she continued to foster that passion through derivative work, and at 23 she turned her eye to original fiction.
Now in her thirties, having taken a break from creative endeavors to cope with an ever changing life and landscape, she is determined to make her dream of a writing career reality.
